Do not get caught up with all the excitement of extravagant dinners on the beach or holiday barbeques, and keep in mind that portion size does matter! It’s okay to splurge every once in a while but remember, everything in moderation!

Take advantage of all the fruit that this sunny season brings and snack up on a healthy juice! Mix up some pineapple slices, mangos, kale, and oranges for the perfect 6 to 8 ounce summer refreshment.

There is nothing better than being able to walk out your front door and get fresh produce from your own garden. Growing fruits and vegetables on your own might sound like a lot of work, but it will give you a reason to get off the couch and spend some time outside!

Make sure to drink your water! This is the most important thing to staying healthy and hydrated over the summer. Add some fresh cucumbers or strawberries to your water for some flavor.

Beach days call for filling coolers with food and beverages to enjoy on a hot, sunny day. However, make sure all the food is kept cool with long lasting icepacks in order to keep the temperatures controlled. Food borne illnesses can creep up on you; fight them off by safeguarding your meals.

Summer is a time for relaxation. Stress puts a huge toll on your physical and mental health. What better way to release some stress than laying on a beach all day or doing summer activities, like having a picnic or playing sports.
